1. When opening a room, the heat load is relatively small, and the time to reach the set temperature will be relatively less. If opening a few more rooms, the heat load will increase, and the time to reach the set temperature will also increase, and the energy consumption will increase. Is it because central air-conditioning can't open many rooms? Wrong! Central air conditioning system has a minimum start value, different brands have different minimum start value, even if only one room load does not reach the minimum start value, power consumption will be calculated according to the minimum start value, so it is not only open a room to save electricity.
2. Frequency conversion technology is widely used in central air-conditioning, which saves more electricity than conventional constant speed air-conditioning. Fixed-frequency air-conditioning saves electricity because outdoor units are always on the go. Because of the ordinary constant speed air conditioning, when the indoor unit temperature reaches the set temperature, the compressor will stop, and when the indoor temperature rises beyond the set temperature, the compressor will automatically open, so the compressor will always stop and start. However, the starting current of the compressor is comparatively large, and the larger the current, the greater the power consumption.
3. But the frequency conversion is different. When the indoor temperature reaches the set temperature, the compressor works very slowly. It only needs to maintain the set temperature for a certain amount of cooling in the room. So there is no shutdown loss of the compressor to achieve the purpose of power saving. Is it more energy-saving for the ordinary frequency converter cabinet and hang-up machine than for the frequency converter central air-conditioner? Energy efficiency ratio is the key index to weigh the power consumption of air conditioning. The energy efficiency ratio of ordinary cabinet and hang-up is about 2.8, while that of central air conditioning is above 3.0, so central air conditioning is more energy-saving. So in practice, central air-conditioning and general air-conditioning as a few central air-conditioning, but in common circumstances, the power consumption of opening a room is still less than the total power consumption.
